9/11 is a tragic day. In 1973 the assassination of Salvador Allende was truly a day of great sadness for the people of Chile, and for worker’s movements all over the world. In 2001 the Twin Towers, a symbol of global capital, were struck in an act of vengeance against imperialist colonialism. We regret working people had to bear the cost of this action, but we also understand that the reason it happened is entirely the fault of the American Capitalist system and global imperialist domination.
People bear the cost of war and violence. Working class people who struggle every day to pay rent, put food on the table, keep the lights on, health insurance, education for a so-called “better future.” The people, normal people, bear the weight of this violence and tragedy. And while we are either toiling, fighting, or having a bomb dropped over our heads the capitalists profit.
They profit from our continued labor, stealing all of the social value we generate as a community engaged in socialized production. They profit from the development and sale of war machines, weapons, and technology. They profit from the use of war machines, weapons, and technology on innocent people. However the people are suffering: The billionaires are able to extract a profit from us.
It grows more clear and more urgent every day that the people of America must rally together and do something more real than to line up in a voting booth. Regardless of whether or not the American representative system has more R’s or D’s pinned to their lapels is immaterial to the analysis. War, violence, imperialist terror and aggression were all just as profitable under Obama as they are under Trump. Regardless of which major party holds the title of President, whoever has the strongest caucus in Congress: people are dying from lack of access to basic needs to survive. Not just globally, but here in the Imperial Core.
The solution to this problem is not to replace our representatives, but to change the system entirely. We cannot abide by the snails pace of reformism, changing one line at a time in how our laws work. The American Capitalist regime is currently engaged in global warfare with the goal of world domination. The lives of people all over the world, both here in the core and anywhere else, are dependent on our resistance to American Capital. To do this: we must organize politically and begin to build Socialism.
Under Socialism, with a government collectively ruled by the people and not a few rich oligarchs, we can reorganize production so that we can produce and distribute all the things we need to survive based on need. We can eliminate houselessness. We can eliminate hunger. We can eliminate isolation and alienation. Most of all: We can eliminate global warfare on the innocent people of the world.
There is no greater threat to the world than Capitalism. It seeks to ravage every single corner and person for every drop of profit available, all for the betterment of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk. We must bring the people together and fight for socialism today.
This cannot wait any longer. While the capitalist billionaires continue to grow their dragon’s hoards of wealth: the people of the world pay in more than just sweat and tears: but in an ocean of blood.
